Photo Libraries: Recovering from Termites and Drought
On Brussels Farm near Vryburg, South Africa,
Dick & Judy Richardson
had faced three years of an extended drought. Harvester termites
invaded and consumed every plant by October 2003.
But the cattle broke the cap and by April 2004 with some rain the land recovered.
